Morocco: The Dream Destination for Weddings

Morocco is an amazing place to get married. The country is one of the most popular destinations for couples who want to hold their wedding in an exotic location and experience a unique culture. In addition to stately palaces, you’ll find ancient villages that have been inhabited for centuries and spectacular deserts filled with wildlife. Marrakesh is the hub of Morocco’s cultural scene, so it’s no surprise that this city has become synonymous with weddings since the late 19th century when first-class hotels began hosting lavish nuptials there. Essaouira lies on the Atlantic coast just north of Casablanca and gets its name from its Portuguese heritage: Essaouira means “coastal wind” in Arabic! Ouarzazate has been home to Berber nomads for centuries; today it remains a popular destination among Europeans seeking out adventure trips around Africa’s High Atlas Mountains (the highest point in North Africa). Ourika Valley—which straddles both Algeria and Tunisia—is known as one of Europe’s most beautiful natural areas thanks to its lush palm trees and springs flowing with hot water pumped up from underground aquifers.

Marrakesh

Marrakesh is one of the most popular destinations for weddings in Africa. This incredible city has an incredible history and culture, but it’s also an ideal destination for destination weddings. Marrakesh has been attracting tourists for centuries, and today it’s considered a must-see destination for anyone who loves adventure and history.

If you’re planning a wedding in Marrakech, here are some things you should know:

Essaouira

Essaouira is a great destination for a destination wedding. It’s located in the far south of Morocco, and it offers some of the most beautiful beaches in all of Africa. This town has become one of my favourite places to visit on an African Safari because it has so much to offer—from surfing and snorkelling to diving and exploring deserted beaches.

If you’re looking for something more traditional then Essaouira’s beachfront properties might be just what you’re looking for! If you want something more intimate but still beautiful, consider renting out your own villa or apartment here as part of your guest list after they arrive at their hotel accommodations elsewhere (see below). The town itself also has plenty going on besides just relaxing; there are plenty of restaurants offering traditional Moroccan cuisine plus modern restaurants with international fusion options available as well!

Ouarzazate

Ouarzazate is a city in the South-West of Morocco. It is known for its beautiful landscapes and desert scenery, but also because it was the location of many films, including the famous film “Lawrence of Arabia”.

Ouarzazate has a rich history as well. The city has been inhabited since prehistoric times by Berbers and Arabs. In 711 A D, Arab invaders from Cordoba conquered Ouarzazate and made it their capital for seven hundred years until 1492 AD when they were expelled by Spain’s Christian armies under King Ferdinand III . Afterwards, the entire area was given over to Spanish rule until 1844 when France took control over Morocco through its protectorate treaty signed with Sultan Moulay Ismail II.

Ourika Valley

Ourika Valley is a beautiful valley in Morocco, which has become a popular resort area. It’s a good place to get married and honeymoon, or even have a spa treatment.

Merzouga

Merzouga is a village in the Sahara Desert and one of Morocco’s most popular destinations for camel treks. The area has become a favorite for sandboarding, which involves riding on a board over soft sand dunes.

Merzouga is also known as “The Gateway to the Sahara” due to its location along Route Nationale N°7 (R7), which connects Marrakech with Ouarzazate via Moulay Bousselham, Erfoud and Ait Benhaddou.

Morocco is a dream destination for weddings.

Morocco is a dream destination for weddings. The country has beautiful cities, resorts and hotels that can be used as venues. The food is delicious, and there are many activities to choose from.

Morocco is one of the most popular countries in Africa because it has a lot of things to do: hiking trails; desert safaris; diving at coral reefs; camel riding tours through the mountains or along the coast; shopping trips to Marrakesh’s souks (markets).

As with any other destination on this list, Morocco offers something for everyone: first-timers will fall in love with its stunning architecture; veterans will enjoy travelling back in time by visiting mosques dating from medieval times such as those found at Moulay Idris El Ghalib near Tangier or those built during colonial times such as those found at Sidi Bou Said palace near Agadir or imams who lived during medieval times still live there today serving guests at their homes

If you are planning on having your wedding there then we recommend looking into renting a villa or hotel with availability for September through December. This will give you plenty of time to plan everything out before moving down there. But if all else fails then don’t worry because we promise that everything will be taken care of for you when it comes down to it! Book a free consultation call today!
